Since moving to our Arkwright Road offices in 2015, Jarrard Law Group, LLC, has welcomed three attorneys to the firm in Of Counsel positions – Amy Dever, Mark Mitchell, and Ashley Sillay. Amy Griffith Dever brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to our firm. Since earning a Juris Doctor from Walter F. George School of Law at Mercer University in Macon, Georgia in 1982, she has practiced for 16 years in Atlanta, Georgia and has been a sole practitioner since 1999 in Macon, Georgia. Her legal experience as a general civil litigator includes both business litigation and commercial construction litigation as well as probate matters and representation of incapacitated adults. Ms. Dever has served as an arbitrator for the Lemon Law Administration & Dispute Resolution Georgia Department of Law Consumer Protection Unit since 2011, and as a mediator for the Alternative Dispute Resolution Program for both the Houston and Macon Judicial Circuits.

S. Mark Mitchell has provided clients across the state of Georgia with superior legal services for more than 15 years, devoting a significant portion of his practice to civil litigation. He has represented hundreds of clients in family law matters ranging from divorce, to paternity/legitimation issues, to grandparent visitation and adoptions, to personal injury and employment matters. Drawing upon his experience as a government executive, Mark also devotes a substantial portion of his practice to representing local governments and other governmental entities.

Ashley T. Sillay joined our team in early 2016 and brings a strong commitment to excellence. Ms. Sillay holds a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Georgia and a Master’s degree from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington, both in English. After moving back to the middle Georgia area to begin her legal studies, she earned a Juris Doctor from Mercer University’s Walter F. Georgie School of Law in 2013. In addition to practicing law, Ashley teaches business ethics, business law, and business writing at Middle Georgia State University and Advanced Legal Writing at Mercer Law School.
