P. MacKenzie Miller, Attorney at Law

Ms. Miller is an associate with Jarrard Law Group. She graduated from Augusta University in 2017 and then obtained her law degree from Mercer University’s School of Law in 2021 and was admitted to the State Bar of Georgia in November 2021. During law school, MacKenzie was a clinic member of the Habeas Project which has handled dozens of cases where the client was financially unable to retain counsel. She assisted in brief writing, oral arguments, and coordination for community services for clients upon release from prison. She also earned the Outstanding Law Student Award from the National Association of Women Lawyers, was a student member of the William A. Bootle Inn of Court, and received the Equal Access to Justice Scholarship.

During law school, Ms. Miller gained valuable and practical experience. She clerked with The Honorable Chief Judge Jeff Hanson with Macon-Bibb County State Court and worked with a private firm, two state agencies, and a local nonprofit at various times throughout law school.

Prior to law school, MacKenzie worked in health and human services in the nonprofit sector for seven years. She is passionate about criminal defense and general civil litigation. In her spare time, Ms. Miller coaches Mercer Law’s student Arbitration Team with the Mercer Law Advocacy Council.
